VW Earth Pressure Cells

Product Description The VW Earth pressure cells are used to verify design assumption and excess pressure on the structures. They also measure the combined pressure of effective stress and pore water pressure. Model 1910(EPC) / Standard pressure cell The model 1910 is used to measure total pressure on the embankments, buildings, sheet piles and abutment of bridges. In fill in embankments and dams, cells are often installed in arrays of three up to five. Model 1920(JOPC) / Jack out pressure cell The model 1920 is designed to measure total pressure on retaining walls and slurry walls. It must be use with a hydraulic jack, a bearing plate and a reaction. Model 1930 / Strain gage type pressure cell This model is attached with VW strain gage inside of cell, is useful for tunnel lining or experiment of model at a low price. Model 1910, 1920 VW Earth pressure cells consist of two circular stainless steel plates of φ230mm welded together their periphery and spaced apart by a narrow cavity filled with deaired fluid. Model 1930 is manufactured in a form that has VW Strain gage inside of cell, it displays frequency signal and is useful to experiment of model designed to be small size of φ114mm.Product Specification/Models |
